The project
The brief
Culemborg Cargo and Container Terminal (CCCT) was established in 2004 to take up the challenge of being the first black import and export groupage unpack and consolidation depot. It operates opposite the Port of Cape Town, with road transport and a 3,200 sqm warehouse that includes a bonded facility licensed by SARS.
The problem
Our approach
The work has two sides. The public website sets out CCCT’s transport and warehousing services, with a quote request form, client login and registration, and a Track & Trace page where a client enters a tracking code.
Behind it is a Laravel system that handles import, export and delivery tasks and automates most of them, including filling in documents for SARS. The site is still live on the same build.
