The brief
Stellenzicht Wines is a renowned wine farm based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape in South Africa. The winery prides itself on its sustainable approach to winemaking, focusing on minimal intervention while producing exceptional wines. The team at Stellenzicht recognized that their website did not reflect the modern and user-friendly approach they have for their wine production. They approached Galactic Digital with a brief to design and develop a website that would enhance user experience and showcase their brand.
The problem
The Stellenzicht team required a website that was built with Shopify, that is more user-friendly and cohesive. In addition, they wanted a store locator feature and a dedicated page for their Wine Pod.
Our approach
Galactic Digital designed and developed a new website for Stellenzicht Wines that was built with Shopify. The website features a clean and modern design, which is easy to navigate. We selected a base Shopify theme that was adapted to suit the client’s requirements. The website has been optimised to be minimal, with fewer clicks required to get a user to where they need to be on the site, ensuring a better overall user experience.
The store locator feature was added to the website to help customers find stores that sell Stellenzicht Wines, and the dedicated page for their Wine Pod was created to give more information on this exciting project.
Custom sections were developed using Shopify Liquid development language to ensure that the website sections could be easily implemented on the required pages. Our team worked closely with the Stellenzicht team to ensure that the website met all their requirements and was up to their high standards.
The outcome
The new Stellenzicht Wines website has exceeded the client’s expectations. The website is now more user-friendly and cohesive, with a modern look and feel. The store locator feature and dedicated Wine Pod page have made it easier for customers to find the wines and learn about the brand’s sustainability initiatives.
The Stellenzicht team was pleased with the quick response time and execution from Galactic Digital. The website’s user experience was positively received by both the client and external parties during the testing phase.
